With a history that dates to the mid-1800s, Wild Turkey Bourbon is world renowned as truly singular bourbon. Distilled from limestone-filtered waters on the property, this process creates a smooth intense flavor that distinguishes this bourbon from others. The "Wild Turkey" brand name comes from a distillery executive who treated his annual turkey hunting friends to a sample from the warehouse. In subsequent years, his friends insisted he bring "that Wild Turkey bourbon" along on their hunts.
